Bits & Pieces of BoomBox
It was a gathering of vibes with groovy, electronic music duo BoomBox jamming at the Broadberry. Their chill musical foundation blends with the funk of electronic and hip-hop to create their unique sound. Combine that with the colorful and bright lights that dance along to the beat, and you find it’s impossible to stand still while these two work their magic. DJ Russ Randolph broke it down in a cop costume, while guitarist Zion Rock Godchaux sported his own colorful duds. Eclectic jewelry and pins adorned the merchandise table and tie-dye shirts hung on the walls. There was an undeniable sense of togetherness amongst the audience, and with every funky beat, that bond only grew and strengthened.
