Meet Thomas

Hey everyone, I’m Thomas Bailey. As an upcoming senior undergraduate student at VCU and I’m so excited to be interning at The Broadberry. I’m originally from San Diego and can’t wait to get back to the west coast after I graduate and spread some knowledge I’ve gained from my internship here. With a passion for music and entertainment what better place to start than The Broadberry?

Meet Rachel

Hi everyone, my name is Rachel Burnett. I’m from a very small town near Pittsburgh PA, and I’m studying Public Relations and Graphic Design at Slippery Rock University. I’m excited to spend my summer in RVA at The Broadberry with such a great group of people. Music has always been an important part of my life, so why not blend it with my love of Public Relations. I can’t wait to take what I learn here back to Pennsylvania and begin my career.

Meet Adison

Hey guys, my name is Adison Mayer and I am a 22 year old student at Virginia Commonwealth University studying Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. I was born and raised in Midlothian, Virginia so Richmond has always been very close to my heart. I have had a love and passion for music ever since I can remember. I am so excited to work as an intern at the Broadberry this summer and to learn the ins and outs of what it takes to work at such an amazing concert venue!

Meet Madison

‘Sup dudes, I’m Madison Sweere! I’m a senior at VCU, studying public relations for my Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Mass Communications. I have roots in Arkansas and Virginia. Live shows are where I’m at my happiest!

When I’m not at The Broadberry, I’m usually at my “day job,” doing marketing and front desk duties for Crystal Spa & Nails in Petersburg, VA. In my free time, I like to stroll around downtown Richmond and hang out at the best grilled cheese pub in town, Home Sweet Home.

Meet Kayleigh

Hey y’all! My name is Kayleigh and I’m a rising senior studying creative advertising at Virginia Commonwealth University. I’m originally from Baltimore and have been living in Richmond for 3 years so far. Ever since Myspace days, I’ve loved all kinds of music. Discovering new artists is one of my favorite hobbies, along with going to live shows. I’m super excited to be on The Broadberry’s intern team and get a better look at the backstage of live music and special events.

Meet Adam

What’s up! My name’s Adam Jackson. I’m a creative advertisement major at VCU pursuing a career in copywriting and art direction. My free time is spent keeping in touch with my friends and family, working on music production, and cooking. Whether it’s taking a shower or mowing the grass, I have music playing at all times. 5 artists I can’t live without would be Kid Cudi, Kanye, Drake, J Cole, and Kendrick Lamar.

My passion for music and helping businesses connect products/events to big ideas is what led me to apply for a position here on The Broadberry’s squad. Working under Erin and Lucas’s wing has given me great insight on how to properly manage and coordinate events. This opportunity has allowed me to better my professional communication skills and fine tune my adobe graphic abilities. It’s very rewarding to see my creations executed on social media or posters that are printed and hung up around Richmond. I feel very RVA. Broadberry is for the culture.
