Spacebomb Records Weekend! Friday: Andy Jenkins, Saturday: Sleepwalkers Record Release!

Local boutique labels Spacebomb Records and 6131 Records showcase two rising artists – Andy Jenkins and Luray respectively – this Friday at Richmond Music Hall.

After both a UK and US tour this spring, alongside showcases at the annual SXSW music conference, Andy Jenkins is back in town, sharing the folk-rooted tunes off his acclaimed debut record, 2018’s Sweet Bunch.

The captivating songwriter will be joined by fellow Virginia based artist and recent 6131 Records signee, Luray, who has just released her debut record, Dig. Nonesuch Records artist Daughter of Swords, also a member of renowned trioMountain Man, who recently played at Richmond Music Hall, is celebrating the release of her latest record, Dawnbreaker.

It’s been a long time coming, but we can finally welcome the 2nd album from Richmond sweethearts SLEEPWALKERS, out this weekend in Richmond only. After bursting onto the scene with 2014’s groundbreaking swirl of retro 60’s psychedelia and modern grooves, Greenwood ShadeSLEEPWALKERS have poised themselves for great success with their latest effort, Ages, on Spacebomb Records.

Joining the likes of peers and friends on the label Natalie Prass, Matthew E. White, and Bedouine, SLEEPWALKERS unique twist of old and new fit right in with the boutique label.
