Two Sold Out Shows with Avail will go down in history for Broadberry Entertainment Group

Did you get to catch AVAIL at The National?!

We’re still in awe after this past weekend with Avail and their back to back SOLD OUT reunion shows at The National.

“Just about everyone in the room knew every word to every song — a real among-friends feeling in a room full of strangers,” says Tom Breihan in his Steregum article about the Friday night show.

We’ve worked with the National before but not on a level like this. This score, pulled off by Broadberry Ent. Group partner and co-founder, Jessica Gordon, broke the internet on March 29th…. (well, it definitely blew it up, that’s for sure); breaking any before seen ticket sale, AVAIL’s “On Sale” goes down in Broadberry Entertainment history as the fastest Sell Out to date. And we don’t think many or even a few will ever come close.
Avail’s show for Friday, July 19, was the first and only announced show for the VA (hometown: Richmond) punk band since their last show 12 years ago.

  • Tickets went on sale on Friday, March 29 at 10:00 AM
  • and tickets were sold out within just 10 seconds
  • with 0% scammer or bot purchases reported in the audit scan!

The second show on Saturday, July 20, was announced just hours later and went on sale the next day, March 30, with offering ONLY box office purchases at The National. Avail fans lined up for 8 blocks to get their tickets before the second AVAIL show, too sold out.

In Kerrang’s feature on the hometown reunion shows, they explain that “in a lot of ways, Saturday was the “locals-only” show, as tickets were available only to those willing to stand in line for hours to purchase from the box office.”

Thanks to everyone who came out to these history-making shows celebrating the 21st anniversary of Avail’s 1998 album, Over the James. We’ll see you at the next show! Click here for a full list of our upcoming events.
