Full Moon Fever SHOW PREVIEW (November 15, 2019)

Full Moon Fever: A Tribute to Tom Petty @ The Broadberry November 15, 2019

Paying well deserved homage and rightfully earned tribute to one of the greatest Rock n’ Roll American icons of the 20th century, Full Moon Fever is coming to the Broadberry tonight to cover Tom Petty’s greatest hits. The five piece, Richmond-grown cover band has locally cultivated a rediscovered love and renewed appreciation for the songs of Petty and the Heartbreakers by performing energized and emotional renditions of the band’s well-known hits.

As a group of close friends with admirable tastes in music, Prabir Mehta, Matt Morton, Marcus Shrock, David Robbins and Rich Stein combine their love for Petty with their musical talents to revive the rocking and rolling of an 80 million album-selling legend.

When Tom Petty passed away in 2017, he left behind a legacy. A legacy that deeply and sincerely affected the entire musical landscape and ignited a revitalized fervor of all things Petty. Full Moon Fever delivers those feelings and unites the community in a palpable admiration for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.  The band’s performances allow some to relive their youth and others to bask in the sheer timelessness of the music.

From triumphant songs like “Don’t Do Me Like That,” “Refugee,” and “I Won’t Back Down” to American classics like “American Girl” and “Mary Jane’s Last Dance,” and “Free Fallin’,” Full Moon Fever is ready to represent their namesake and musically inspirational luminary, Tom Petty.
