Enter Fear of Music, Richmond tribute band to the Talking Heads, fronted by guitarist, vocalist and David Byrne look-alike Nate Griffith. The band includes, Chrissie, on bass, with familiar local musicians Bob Miller on keys and Dusty Ray Simmons on drums. The Northerners
The Northerners are a brother and sister led Indie-Rock band out of Richmond, VA taking most of their influences from 60’s and 70’s classic rock. The Northerners sound has been described as part nostalgia, part new indie-rock. The siblings have been playing music together since 2012 and have since opened for Lord Huron, sealed a residency at The Camel in Richmond, Va, and Adam Blake (Disney Choreographer) created a one of a kind ice show around The Northerners original music. The newest release from the band has been their single “Boosie Pop” off their upcoming full length album summer release.
